Amy, a friend from school in Ann Arbor was also in Japan, so this weekend she and I decided to get together. She also was in town for day five at the studio. Today was a fun day, mostly because Amy and I just got to paint and glaze. We first painted all the rabbits and then I went on to color the previous items I had made. Moto was really nice and let Amy paint some already glazed items. We started out drawing flowers because that was pretty much all we could do.
So heres the list
3 Rabbits
1 small black cup with yellow flowers
1 white pot with sakura flowers
1 teacup cup with trees from all the seasons
1 small plate, Ohinasama (typical japanese prince and princess)
1 small blue cup with shooting star
After we finished painting we went to the kitchen for lunch. Delicious again. I am really going to miss these really good lunches. Then afterward I worked on shaving the pots I had made on the wheel, Its one vase-y thingy, and a tea cup.
Amy had to take the train to Tokyo rather early so we left around three. Im putting a BUNCH of pictures up. Everything is looking quite cool :)
